In Figure 1 the interaction between the different task-activities of each subproject is shown. It is also noted which activity is individual, related or common to both groups

INTERACTION BETWEEN OBJECTIVES, ACTIVITIES AND SUBPROJECTS

MECHANISMS OF COORDINATION

With the aim of reaching the proposed objectives and developing in a correct way the Project, its different stages will be kept watch. For so doing, both groups will keep some research meetings, approximately, every 6 months. In the web page of the Project to be created (see section 5), areas with public and private access will be included. The private area is restricted to members of the groups and EPOs where information can be shared. This web page will be continuously updated with information for different events to be proposed and scientific and technology results from the project. Given the relationship between tasks of both groups, especially regarding the preparation of catalysts, experimental conditions to be applied in AOPs and refractory compounds to be used, a continuous coordination and communication will be developed (i.e. interchanging documents via email) with the following aims:

Supervising the correct execution of planed tasks according to the proposed chronogram and approving modifications of the working plan.Informing all participants on the results obtained through the whole duration of Project. Coordinating collaborative works and managing the interchanging of material (preparation methods, catalyst samples, etc) allowing an efficient execution of sharing tasks. Also, coordinating the preparation of common reports and papers to be published (this is an aspect where the groups have experience since some of their members have already common publications (see for example: Alvarez et al., J. Col. Interf. Sci., 283, 503-512, 2005; Carbajo et al., Appl. Catal. B Environ. 67, 177-186, 2006; Carbajo et al., Ozone Sci. Eng. 28, 229-235, 2006).

Informing of possible forum (seminars, meetings, congresses, etc) where obtained results can be discussed and disseminated.

Coordinating the preparation of sharing seminars, conferences, expositions of results to EPOs, students, researchers, general public, etc.

Keeping the contact with EPOs to inform them about the achievements obtained during the project.

Supervising the maintenance and updating the information of the Project web page
